Mrs. Christie Shultz - Pre-K Lead Teacher
My name is Christine Shultz, and it is my pleasure to work as the lead teacher in the five-day Pre-K class.
I grew up in Whitemarsh Township and graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. I attended Lafayette College, earning degrees in both English and Government.
I then attended and graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Virginia. I went on to practice labor and employment law for approximately ten years at a small firm in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
As much as I enjoyed the law, a huge milestone occurred in my life as I approached the ten-year mark in my career. I became a mother. This change stirred up the passions I always had for working with young children.
I now have two children, a son (13) and a daughter (11). Shortly after my son began preschool here at Storehouse, I enrolled in a teaching certification and masters of education program at Chestnut Hill College. I earned my teaching certification and master’s degree in education in December 2015.
My hobbies include reading, hiking, and discovering great new children’s picture books to share with your children.
My faith is a very important part of my life, and I can be found here at Storehouse on Sunday mornings teaching the Pre-K Kids Clubhouse class.
I feel so blessed to work with your amazing children!
